Motus Performance & Wellness was created to bridge the gap between traditional treatment and real performance training. Instead of focusing only on symptoms, we evaluate how your body moves and why the issue started in the first place.

Over the past 15+ years, I've worked with athletes, golfers, and active individuals stuck in the same frustrating cycle: pain, temporary relief, and the same issue coming back. The problem isn't just the injury. It's how the body moves. That's why I built Motus.
My background spans performance training, injury rehabilitation, hands-on treatment, and golf-specific movement, allowing me to see the full picture and connect how your body moves to how you perform. At Motus, assessment, treatment, training, and recovery are fully integrated under one roof.

Chad Nelson
Since discovering my passion for golf fitness in 2008, I've dedicated myself to studying and collaborating with top coaches and experts in the field. I've had the privilege of training junior golfers, PGA professionals, and everyday athletes, helping people of all ages and fitness levels move better, perform stronger, and feel their best.
My foundation in Exercise Physiology from the University of Northern Colorado led me through cardiac rehab and Strength & Conditioning at the University of Denver before bringing me to Arizona over 20 years ago. I believe lasting change comes from consistent effort, smart training, and addressing the whole person: fitness, nutrition, sleep, and mindset together.

Cancellation Policy
We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed visits or late cancellations may result in a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled appointment cost.
